Analog gauges consist of typically depth gauge and dive pressure gauge in either single or console configurations.
Pressure gauge is mechanical gauge that reads by a needle indicator, most pressure gauges have a color coded dial face, which makes reading the amount of pressure in the tank at a glance simple. Some pressure gauges come with a high pressure hose and can be used with or without a protective boot or console; some pressure gauges are designed to thread directly into the high pressure port of a first stage regulator for use with a pony bottle system; other models include a temperature gauge. Analog gauges can come in either imperial or metric scales. The most common maximum pressure rating is 5000 psi / 300 bar. Gauges can be rated for air, nitrox 40% or even 100% oxygen use.
Depth gauge is also a mechanical gauge that reads the depth by a needle indicator. Some scuba depth gauges have an option of a maximum depth indicator, which is a second needle that is moved up the depth scale by the main needle. As the main needle returns to zero, it leaves the maximum depth indicator needle at the deepest depth obtained. The needle can be manually reset at the surface for the next dive. Depth gauge can come in either imperial or metric scales. The most common maximum depth rating is 150 feet / 50 meters.

1) Pressure gauge
To monitor breathing gas pressure in the scuba diving cylinder, a scuba diving regulator usually has a high pressure hose leading to a contents gauge (pressure gauge). The port for this hose leaves the first-stage upstream of all pressure-reducing valves. The contents gauge is a pressure gauge measuring the gas pressure in the diving cylinder so the diver knows how much gas remains in the cylinder. Scuba diving pressure gauge is also known as submersible pressure gauge or SPG.

2) Depth gauge
A depth gauge is a pressure gauge that displays the equivalent depth in water, most modern scuba diving depth gauges have an electronic mechanism and digital display, older types used a mechanical mechanism and analogue display. Scuba diver uses a depth gauge with decompression tables and a watch to avoid decompression sickness. A common alternative to the depth gauge, watch and decompression tables is a dive computer. A depth gauge and an oxygen analyser/oxygen sensor can be used to measure the partial pressure of oxygen of the breathing gas, which is necessary to avoid oxygen toxicity. Digital depth gauges commonly show the interval of time that the diver has been submerged and show the diver's rate of ascent and descent, which can be is useful for avoiding barotrauma, depth gauge is a piece of diving equipment often used by scuba divers. As the gauge only measures pressure, there is an inherent inaccuracy in the depth displayed by most gauges that are used in both fresh water and seawater due to the difference in the densities of fresh water and seawater.

3) Compass
The compass is a simple device that assists scuba divers in navigating during a dive. It consists of a movable needle which points north, a movable bezel which has 360 degree markings and a sight through or directional line which represents the diver’s direction. A “super tilt” compass module allows the module to be held up to a 30 degree angle without affecting the accuracy. The compass can be mounted on the wrist, in a console with the dive pressure gauge and depth gauge. Scuba divers typically use the compass to find their way back to the beach or boat, scuba diver can swim underwater following a heading without having to surface to watch where they’re going.
